9 Months Old..No Way!!

So Karli is 9 months old today. I cannot believe how fast time is flying by. We are getting her pictures made on April 3rd, so I will post them when I get them. I did take a few snapshots but the camera battery is dead so I cannot download them to the computer. I promise to post them tomorrow night or Saturday morning. Also her 9 month appointment is Wednesday so I will post an update with her weight and all other info. She will be getting her last Synagis shot of the season. YAY!!! I don't think she is due for any other shots this visit so that is good.

Test Results...

Negative. I must admit I was much more relieved than I would have been ready to admit. Randall was too. I really didn't want another baby with a birthday right at Christmas. We have decided to start trying in May. We have a long beach vacation planned so that will be good timing. We do however already have our names picked out, of course we had the boy's name when I was pregnant with Karli, but decided to go ahead and pick another girl name too. Since we have already decided once we do get pregnant again, we are not going to find out the sex, we decided to go ahead and lock in a name for boy or girl. So the names are:

Boy- Robert Keaton

Girl- Kadence Reese

Randall is a 6th generation first name Robert so that is a given, Keaton is a name I fell in love with and Randall likes so it works.

Kadence is another K name I like and Randall LOVES Reese, so if we have another girl, she will actually go by Reese.(and yes it is stolen from Reese Witherspoon)

April Showers Bring May Flowers...

Remember that little rhyme from when we were little. Well this year I am hoping that it comes true. I have decided to attempt to plant some flowers. My house had a beautiful yard full of flowers and flowering bushes when I bought it. It took me under 2 years in my house to kill most all of them. I do still have the some hydrangeas, 2 of 4 rose bushes, and some lily's. Now the one thing I have not managed to kill in the last 5 years here is the monkey grass, that crap is everywhere!! I even sprayed some weed killer on it 2 years ago and it didn't work. So anyway. I have decided to buy some rose bushes( I love roses in the yard, not from the florist) I love to see them bloom in all different sizes, and I also want some sort of little flower. Seeing as how I am not an expert, my mother in law is going to help me pick out some flowers and my next weekend off we are going to garden... I just hope something grows...LOL...

Quick Update

So not alot is going on. The kids are both fine. Korey started baseball again, so back to spending 5 days a week at the ballpark. Karli is getting bigger and starting to babble constantly. She still has not cut a tooth. Korey on the other hand has a loose molar(OUCH) so I am thinking that his 12 year molar is trying to push through. Now for what is going on with me and Randall.
We are officially searching for a new Church. Through much prayer we finally decided that moving our Worship to another Church is the right thing to do for us and our family. Next, we had an "oops" this month. We had decided that we were not going to really try for another baby until around May/June, well this month I ovulated 3 days earlier than normal so we will be testing on March 14th(which just happens to be Randall's birthday) Neither one of us will be upset if we are pregnant. Last we are in the middle of some major renovations to the inside of the house,YUCK is my only word for that. I am so thankful that RSV season is almost over and Karli has not gotten sick at all since birth(knock on wood)....Anyway that is all for now.. I will try and post some new pics next week, and the results of the testing...LOL

Change of Season

Everytime the temp does funny things I tend to get sick. Well this week is no different. I have just felt overall sick the last two days. It started with my stomach. I immediately thought that I was getting the stomach bug that Ran and Korey had last week. Then today the runny/stopped up nose started, then the headaches and tonight back to the overwhelming nausea. So at time I pretty much feel awful, but then I feel fine. I am sure it is just my allergies acting up, and I will probably have a sinus infection by next week. I mean last Sunday it snowed and then today it was 75 outside. What the heck? Gotta love the South..

It's Snowing!!

Ok, so they said it was going to snow, but really in The Big "A" do we ever really get snow.. Not usually, well today we are. It is snowing pretty heavily and actually sticking. The good part, it is gorgeous, the bad part- I am at work.. YUCK... So Randall took Karli outside this morning and took a few snapshots of her and the snow.. Since we don't have any major "winter clothes" she remained in her carseat. Oh and the first picture is a snowball Randall made. The pictures are pretty funny. I can't wait to get home and take a few more pictures once I bundle her up in her fur coat...
