Renovation Part One....

Ok as many of you remember from one of my rambling blog posts we have several projects in store for the house. Well this weekend we will officially begin Renovation Part One. We are finally getting rid of the hideous wrought iron railing that seperates the living room from the entryway. We are building a little half wall to help seperate the living room a little better. We are installing new lights and I am painting the bottom half of the entryway(finally). I am so excited. Randall took this weekend off so that we could have a romantic dinner out on Valentine's Day and we are going to spend Sunday(after Church ofcourse) and Monday working on the wall. My Dad is coming to help with all the sawing and such, I am so excited. I am going to take some before and after pictures to post. We are also finally going to hang the huge Daniel Moore print that I got Randall as a wedding present. I actually have a short list of little things we are going to do while everyone is in a working mood. Yay...Did I mention that I'm very excited....LOL

Lucky People stink!!

This month sucks big time. I am coming to hate the people who just have sex and become pregnant without even trying. Some of my dearest friends have been trying for forever and still aren't pregnant. I am glad that I was lucky enough to have gotten pregnant within 4 months of beginning to try, but I am saddened that some of my friends who deserve kids so much still don't have one. Another month of BFN's (big fat negatives) for 4 of my friends. All of these friends have been trying for over a year and still no luck. All of these ladies are included in my PRAYERS each day. So here we go for another month of trying. Here's hoping that they get knocked up!!! It just sickens me when someone says well we got pregnant the first month we tried, Really because to me thats just sex with a happy ending. Maybe I shouldn't feel like that but I do. I am also positive that I did not get preggo this month, even though AF is not late yet. I just know. I have always been able to tell when I was preggo immediately(even before AF is late) and I just don't feel it this month. So here we go girls. On to February we go.. Just call us the love club!!!

Stupid Groundhog!!

I really hate cold weather. I wish there was somewhere you could live where the temperature was always like mid 70's. That would be perfect weather. Tuesday when I left for work it was 13 degrees. This is not normal for the big A. I didn't like it. I mean can we at least have some snow when its that cold. Nope, not here. Luckily, I didn't have to get the baby out because Daddy was off and was home with her. He however did have to get her out when he took big brother to school. Wednesday the temp went up to 22 for the morning drive to work. Then today when I was off work it was in the high 20's again. Tomorrow, it is supposed to be 35.. WOOHOO.. Is that really supposed to be Warm? That stupid groundhog. I am not sure that I can take another 6 weeks of winter.
