Bigtime Sickness...

Ok so I admit, I have been a bad blogger. After our trip to D.C in September, the camera charger got "lost", so I have been unable to download pictures or take any new ones, as the battery was dead. Lo and behold a few days ago, I "found" the charger on top of the dresser of all places, and yes it was under a huge stack of paperwork...LOL...
When we got back from DC, I went back to work for a 7 day stretch, then ended up with an abscess...OUCH.... Well then this month, I got the H1N1, aka swine flu, then I got another abscess. Double Whammy!! To make matters worse, as you all know, I am very pregnant...I was 21 weeks along when the flu hit, and that is something I would not wish on my worst enemy. I pretty much spent a week and a half on the couch, or in the bed.

Sick and Miserable

Those two words pretty much sum me up right now. I started getting sick on Saturday, just a little coughing, thought maybe I was getting a sinus infection. Well by Sunday I had a sore throat, was hacking like an 85 year old who has smoked their entire life, and was aching all over. Then Sunday afternoon I spiked a fever of 102.3...FUN!! Anyway, I called the Dr today and went in. I have are you ready SWINE FLU!!!! The Dr also sent me for a chest xray just to make sure I don't have pneumonia, because my cough sounds NASTY!!! They went ahead and started me on tamiflu, along with Robitussin DM, Sudafed PE, and Mucinex. We will possibly be adding an antibiotic tomorrow depending on the chest xray results. Needless to say, I spent the whole day( with the exception of the trip to the Dr and Pharmacy on the couch)... I just pray that the kids don't get it. I am going to call the pediatrician in the am and see if she wants to start them both on tamiflu...
